Possible Tiger XI against Proteas

Tigers’ camp is suffering from a number of injuries before their start in the World Cup 2019. This has forced the team management to put extra efforts while choosing the Bangladesh XI.

Today, Bangladesh is set to start the World Cup journey with the match against South Africa. The match will start at 3:30 pm today at London`s The Oval stadium.

What will the strategy of `Tigers` captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and coach Steve Rhodes be against the `Proteas`? Who will be included in the possible XI? Such questions are hitting cricket lovers.

Tamim Iqbal`s injury crinkled eyebrows of many but a green signal has already been given in this case. Now the decision entirely depends on this left-handed opening batsman. But all-rounder Saifuddin is now in uncertainty about his inclusion in the XI. Meanwhile, there is tension about the partnership with Tamim. Who will be chosen to descend in the ground with Tamim? Will the left and right combination be chosen or left-handed Soumya Sarkar, who is in the form now, will be chosen?

The third place is destined for world-famous all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib has nothing to prove since he already asserted that he can be efficient in batting and bowling simultaneously in teams need.

`Mr. Dependable` Mushfiqur Rahim has occupied the fourth place. Mahmudullah Riyad got the fifth place.

Number six has still some qualms. However, Mohammad Mithun handles the situation very well in this position. Recently Sabbir Rahman has played in the seventh position. He is doing well with batting and experimental leg spin.

Pace all-rounder Saifuddin played in the tri-nations series in eighth place. But because of his injury, there is some concern about this place. Mehedy Hasan Miraz or Mosaddek Hossain can be an off-spin all-rounder in position number nine.

Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will be at number 10. Last but not least, Mustafizur Rahman or Rubel Hossain will be kept at number 11 considering the nature of the wicket.

Possible XI of Bangladesh:

Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (wicketkeeper), Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehedy Hasan Miraz.
