The young heroes of Bangladesh cricket have proven their worth once again by thrashing the English by a 3-0 series win. They did not give any chance to the visitors to stand strong in this series. Yesterday, they played the last match.
Bangladesh Under-19s provided a solid team effort as they trashed woeful England to win the third one-day match by 63 runs at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox`s Bazar.
Despite opening batsman Ben Charlesworth presenting a smashing solo performing of 115 runs with 11 boundaries, the visitors could not prevent their third consecutive defeat.
Bangladeshi all-rounder Shamim Hossain, with the strike rate of 85.76, scored 72 runs before returning to the pavilion. Also, he took down two crucial wickets of England at 4.78 economy rate. Both combinedly made the difference to his team`s fortunes. For his contribution to the team, the match officials announced him the man of the match.
