Bangladesh failed to keep the momentum of the win of the ODI as West Indies beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first T-20 international at St Kitts. After winning the toss, Windies opted to bowl first. Being invited to bat, Bangladesh posted a total of 143-9 in 20 overs.
But due to rain, the march was reduced to 11 overs and the target for WI was 91. With the power-hitting by Andre Russel (35 not out) and Samuels (26), West Indies reached the target in 9.1 overs with the loss of only 3 wickets.
Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets for 18 runs. And Mahmudullah was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 35 runs from 27 balls.
