West Indies national team are set to visit Bangladesh to play a full series in November this year. They will play two Tests and three ODIs and three T-20 matches in the visit. It is going to be their first full series visit in Bangladesh after 2012. Bangladesh are now in West Indies playing a full series of three formats.
Before the home series against West Indies in November-December Bangladesh will host Zimbabwe for two Tests and three ODIs in October. Zimbabwe were originally scheduled to visit in January 2019 but the cricket board brought forward the tour to October avoid any potential clash with the 11th parliamentary election of the country. Schedule of BPL will be sorted out by BCB in January. Then, Tigers will play a full series against the West Indies in November-December in the nation.
West Indies will arrive in Bangladesh on 15th November . On 18 and 19 November they will play a two-day match against BCB XI in Chittagong. The first test will start on November 22 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The second Test will start on 30 December at Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur. Three-match ODI series will start from 9th December and the first T-20 match will take place on December 17.
Earlier, the Caribbeans came to Bangladesh to play the last bilateral series in 2012. They played two Tests, five ODIs and one T-20 match. The tourists won the Test series 2-0. But Bangladesh won the ODI series 3-2. And West Indies only won the T-20 match.
