Croatia favourites against England?

England or Croatia, which will be the team to play the final of the 2018 World Cup? To know the answer, we will have to wait a little longer, until the match between these two teams ends in the Luzhniki Stadium in the city of Moscow.

England reached to the semi-finals after beating Sweden 2-0 at the Samara Arena. The goals were scored by defender Harry Maguire and Tottenham winger Dele Alli.

Coach Gareth Southgate backs his offense force, the lethal striker Harry Kane for showing his worth in the semi-final match. The striker of Tottenham Hotspur has scored six goals so far and could bag more against Croatia in the semi-final.

England and Croatia will clash on Wednesday, July 11 at the Luzhniki Stadium for the semifinal of the 2018 World Cup. Whoever wins will play the grand final. While on the other side is the Croatian national team. The well-organized squad qualified to this stage after beating hosts Russia in the penalty shootout in the quarter-finals.

Croatia have a great team to challenge any team in the tournament with the likes of Modric, Rakitic and Mandzukic. The offensive trident is full of technique and will seek to destroy England’s defense to reach the final for the first time.

For England, the route to the semi-finals is yet to be tested properly. To be honest, their opponents were never strong contenders. England did not have the chance to prove themselves with the exception of Belgium when they were beaten by 0-1. So, the seminal match will tell how worthy England truly are to claim the World Cup.

On the other hand, Croatia have proven their worth constantly. They destroyed a team like Argentina scoring 3 goals and conceding none. So far, they remained unbeatable in the tournament. So, if someone between the two to be called worthy for the final, they are Croatia.

However, as the tournament cannot stop surprising us, none can tell it for sure that Croatia or England will win the semi-final.
