The president of Murcia , Víctor Gálvez , revealed José María Gutiérrez ` Guti` will be the new coach of Real Madrid replacing Zinedine Zidane . He said this at a press conference in which he explained how the negotiations went.
"I talked to Guti and I was going to meet him on Thursday. I wanted to convince him to come to Real Murcia, but Zidane left Real Madrid ... A pity that Zidane would not have waited a couple of days before announcing it," he explained during the press conference.
Given that Tottenham and Liverpool both rejected to let go their head coaches, the rumour of Guti arriving to Los Blancos seems to be only viable option now adding the statement of Murcia president. Although Madrid approached to the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino earlier but the Tottenham president Daniel Levy rejected the offer and blocked Madrid’s further approach.
With the German coach Jurgen Klopp, the rumour looks nothing but pure rumour as he had recently took the club to the Champions League final after a long time. Besides, he is under a contract like the Argentine.
In such situation, Guti`s arrival can be the only `sure thing` here. However, Real Madrid have always been a success seeker, so there is good chance that they would not opt for Guti, who is yet to prove his worth as a coach in a much competitive stage of football.
