Messi hat-trick gives Barcelona La Liga title

Barcelona required just a single point to end up La-Liga as the champions in the last match at the La Coruna`s ground. But Barcelona conquered their 25th La Liga championship securing all three points with the 4-2 victory. As a result, the Valverde`s team retained the La Liga title from Real Madrid after a season. Barcelona have made a unique appearance in this season as they are still unbeaten in the La Liga and there is a great opportunity that they can finish the competition without any match defeat. Over the most recent four years, it is their third and seventh in most recent ten years of La Liga history.

Requiring only a point, Barcelona made a quick begin with Philippe Coutinho placing them in front following eight minutes. To get the second objective, Barca need to hold up 38 minutes. Lionel Messi scored an extraordinary goal from the cross over Luis Suarez`s head. With this goal, Messi has been credited with scoring at least 30 goals in 7 unique seasons.

La Coruna recovered one goal in 40 minutes. Lukas Perez`s clay in the knockout shots indicates returning to the team, the team may be relegated. La Coruna scored again in the 64th minute after returning from the break. Just when the match is moving towards the draw Messi drew alll the highlights on him. Through one-on-one pass with Luis Suarez he netted his 31st goal in the league match. Messi completes his hat-trick in the 85th minute of the match. And Barca become the La Liga champions of this season defeating La Coruna.

It was Messi`s 31st hat-trick in La Liga and 41st in all competitions on Barcelona`s jersey. Messi has had five hat-tricks for Argentina as well. And as a player, both Messi and Iniesta have won the 9 La Liga crown titles.
