Will underdog BD beat India who sits atop?

Despite facing defeat in the first match, India remains favorite to win the final after winning three matches in Nidahas trophy. On the other hand, Bangladesh also remains confident about winning after beating Sri Lanka by playing in a rather aggressive fashion. Despite the statistics speak for India, anything can happen in today`s Bangladesh-India final match.

However, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan is not worried about statistics. He says, `India is a good team. But we got our rhythm back. Hopefully, we can retain this mentality to perform better in the final.` The strength of Bangladesh has increased drastically after Sakib returned to the team. Mahmudullah echoed Shakib and then said, `Sakib`s come back gives us advantage.`

India is one of the strongest teams in the cricket world. Their performance in the Nidahas trophy without their key players is still worthy of praise. On the other hand, even though Bangladesh has started with a defeat, but reached the final by beating the host Sri Lanka in two matches. Now the question is, will India who sits atop win today`s match, or will it be the underdog warrior Bangladesh who will snatch the victory in the final?

Bangladesh at the fringe of winning a tri-nation series for the very first time. In January, Sri Lanka won the tri-nation one-day series on their home soil. The underdog Bangladesh has avenged its loss in the tournament by beating Sri Lanka in their home soil in last two matches in the series. The Tigers reached in their dream final by crushing the disciples of Hathurusingha.

And this fierce attitude of Tigers will keep India on their toes. So before the final match starts, Team India is very cautious about their opponent Bangladesh. Meanwhile, some of their key players are not in the squad in the ongoing series. This team, led by Rohit Sharma, is going to take part in the final without the regular faces like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and JaspritBumrah. Dinesh Kartik, concerned about the fierce attitude of Bangladesh at the moment, said, `Bangladesh is now a very solid team. They have been well-known for their uphill attitude. They are a team which has progressed in all formats of the game within a short period of time after getting the test status and kept doing well.`

Earlier, Bangladesh lost two matches against India. The two teams are going to face for the third time in the final match. India beat Bangladesh in the past seven T-20 matches. However, whatever the statistics are cricket fans in Bangladesh dream that Bangladesh will beat India in this tri-nation series and will create a new history.
