BNP`s 150 former MPs joining Bikalpa Dhara?

More than 150 BNP leaders will join Bikalpa Dhara if BNP boycotts the upcoming election. All of them are nomination aspirants of BNP for the next parliamentary election. Most of them were parliament members once in their career. Responsible sources of BNP and Bikalpa Dhara confirmed this information. There is uncertainty in BNP over the participation in the parliamentary election. After the failure of the dialogue, the top leaders of the party showed reluctance in going to the polls. But most of the nomination aspiring leaders of BNP are in favor of participation. They said that their existence will be in danger if BNP does not participate this time. A BNP leader, who is interested in the election, said, "I lost in 2008 election. I am not in a favorable position in my area. After the boycott of 2014 election, I had to face a crisis of existence. And I will lose my existence if I don`t participate this time." An MP who has been elected for three times supported the claim of that leader. He said, "It will be hard to hold the activists in the area, if BNP does not participate." This topic has been discussed in the meeting of BNP top leaders held yesterday (Wednesday). Many people say that the cases filed against BNP activists after the boycott of the 2014 election are still going on. If BNP does the same thing this time, more cases will be filed. Many BNP leaders flattered Tarique Zia in London to get nomination and showered him with expensive gifts. Now if BNP boycotts the election, then the money will not be recovered. At that time Tarique Zia assured them that BNP will participate in the polls. For this reason, they started preparations in their respective areas.

Bikalpa Dhara sources said that the communication between BNP leaders and Bikalpa Dhara President has increased. According to sources, Bikalpa Dhara and United Front are preparing to give nomination in 300 seats this time. The party which had not been able to provide a hundred candidates till a few days ago, how are they suddenly struggling to pick up the candidates? When asked, a Bikalpa Dhara leader said, "The process of participation of a part of BNP leaders, who have possibility of not getting nomination, from Bikalpa Dhara has already started. Now if BNP boycotts the election, then Bikalpa Dhara will get many qualified and popular candidates." Not only Bikalpa Dhara, Trinamool BNP led by Barrister Nazmul Huda has become active to get the candidates for his party. Nazmul Huda`s party has recently been registered. Because of this BNP has become the main target of Nazmul Huda. Ultimately, if BNP does not participate, then it is fairly sure that a substantial part of BNP will go to the polls.
