Germany`s three mosques receive bomb threats
At least three mosques across Germany have been evacuated on Thursday after receiving bomb threats through e-mails. Following the threat police launched a search operation inside the two mosques but didn`t get anything.
UK issues threat for its ships in Iranian waters
The United Kingdom has increased the level of threat to British ships in Iranian waters in the Gulf. They said the threat of the attack was in `critical` stage. A day before the UK accused Iranian boats of trying to seize a British oil tanker in the region. Iran, however, denied any attempted seizure. But Britain declares to keep the threat at the highest level.
Myanmar`s verification card barriers to Rohingya repatriation
Myanmar`s National Verification Card is the biggest barrier of Rohingya repatriation, said UK-based human rights organization Burma Human Rights Network. In one report, they said that this card is ultimately increasing apartheid conditions in the Rakhine State. The Myanmar government has long been pushing Rohingyas to accept NVC claiming that it will enable them with access to public services but in reality, this card further marginalized the Rohingyas.
Amartya Sen slammed for ‘Jai Shri Ram’ remark
Nobel laureate Amartya Sen draws BJP’s wrath over his recent remark on the ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogan. On a Friday even this Nobel laureate economist said "Jai Shri Ram" slogan is being used to beat up people across the country. Several BJP leaders started lashing him following his remark. 
China flood death toll hits 61

At least 61 people have died and 356,000 evacuated from their homes as heavy rain and floods caused havoc in large parts of southern and central China this week. More than 16 lac 30 thousand people have been affected because of this flood.
