Iran closes 547 restaurants for breaking `Islamic principles’

Irian police have shut down 547 restaurants and cafes and arrested 11 people in Tehran for not maintaining “Islamic principles”. The restaurants have been closed after the last 10 days of the campaign, Country`s police said on Saturday. There have been allegations against the restaurants of circulating unconventional advertising in cyberspace, playing illegal music and debauchery.

Trinamool-BJP clash claims 4 lives in West Bengal

At least four people have died in the clash between BJP and Trinamool in Sandeshkhali, North 24 Parganas, on Saturday. Three of the dead were reported to be Trinamool activists. Clashes erupted between the two sides in Sandeshkhali on the move to remove the party flag. BJP leader Mukul Roy has blamed West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for the clash.

Hungarian PM faces criticism for supporting Suu Kyi

Hungary`s far-right, staunchly anti-immigrant Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been facing worldwide criticism after expressing his support to Myanmar state councilor Aung San Suu Kyi. Suu Kyi met Victor Orban on Wednesday during her Hungary visit. In a statement after two leaders` meeting, it was reported that both of them expressed similar views on Islam and immigration.

Sirisena sacks Sri Lanka`s intelligence chief

Sri Lanka`s chief of national intelligence Sisira Mendis was sacked by country`s president Maithripala Sirisena. Sirisena earlier vowed not to cooperate with a parliamentary investigation into security lapses before the Easter suicide bombings.

While attacking NASA for its mission, US president Donald Trump said in a tweet message that "For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!" Trump’s declaration shocked many space enthusiasts but entertained many.
