Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote a letter to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing desire to resolve all reconcilable problems, including the Kashmir issue, according to the Pakistan Media sources.
Massive fire breaks out at Jagannath Ghat in Kolkata
Massive fire broke out at a chemical warehouse at Jagannath Ghat in Kolkata on Friday at around 2:30 am. 20 units of fire service are working to control the fire.
Xi Jinping calls Putin “Best friend”
Chinese President Xi Jinping called Russian President Vladimir Putin as best friend commemorating deep diplomatic relations between the two countries. Xi Jinping went to Russia on a three-day visit and signed several agreements with the Russian president.
Germany to tighten asylum laws
A controversial bill has passed in Parliament to tighten the law for refugees in Germany with rules aimed at making it harder for failed asylum seekers to avoid deportation. On Friday, 152 out of 372 votes in the parliament went in favour  of the law called as `Orderly Return Law`. Chancellor Angela Merkel`s party and coalition leaders also voted in favour of this bill.

Sajid Javid promises better student visa norms if he becomes PM
UK home secretary Sajid Javid has sought to make visa processing easier for overseas students if he becomes the Prime Minister of UK. He said that there is no point in preventing foreign students working here after their graduation from the UK universities.
