US President Donald Trump becomes the first world leader to meet with the new Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan. Naruhito ascends on the throne of Japan in early May this year. According to tradition, the new era has started in
Japan through the assumption of the emperor. Trump became part of history after meeting with emperor as the first foreign head of state.

Sonia thanks the supporters

Congress-led UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi thanked those who voted for her party and supported her. Saudi King invites Qatar`s emir in emergency meeting

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has invited Qatar`s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani to attend two emergency summits in Macca amid the tension among between Iran and Gulf countries. Recently, four oil tankers in the Arab Emirates coast and Saudi Arabian oil stations were attacked. It is known that this meeting has been called in the context.

Nepal`s series explosions kill four in capital Kathmandu

Three bomb explosions occurred in Nepal`s capital Kathmandu and adjacent area areas. At least 4 people were killed and more than 7 were injured. The blasts occurred on Sunday afternoon.

Imran Khan calls Narendra Modi

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has greeted the newly elected Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by a telephone call. On Sunday call, Khan expressed his desire for both the countries to work together for the betterment of their peoples. India`s Foreign Ministry said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked his neighboring country`s PM for his good wishes.

Yemen shoots down Saudi spy drone

The Yemeni army and their supporters claimed to shoot down a Saudi spy drone flying over the Eastern areas of al-Doud. International media said on Sunday that Yemeni drones conducted an attack on Jizan military airbase in Southwestern Saudi Arabia.

Iraq sentenced three Frenchmen to death

A court of Iraq has ordered three Frenchmen to be sentenced to death after being proved guilty of joining the Islamic State (IS) militant group. These three people, named Kévin Gonot, Léonard Lopez and Salim Machou are the first IS suspects from France to be sentenced to death.
