Babri ravaged Ayodhya witnessed a new scene of harmony. Shri Sita Ram temple of Ayodhya hosted an Iftar meal on Monday in its premises in this holy month of Ramadan. According to the priest of the temple, Yugal Kishor, the temple arranged Iftar for the third time and will continue this trend in the future.

Indian oppositions visiting EC to bar riggings

Delegations of India`s 21 opposition parties including Congress are going to the Election Commission to express concern over Electoral Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter-Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT). They are scheduled to meet the EC on Tuesday afternoon. While the exit polls report predicted an easy victory of ruling BJP and its allies, the opposition questioned its credibility. They are afraid that BJP could present this exit poll survey as an example by influencing EVMs.

China can`t be superpower during my rule: Trump

Expressing his satisfaction over the ongoing trade war between the US and China, US president Donald Trump said, China will not be able to become a world power as long as he is in power.  In an interview with Fox News on Monday, Trump said, China wants to earn America`s position as the world`s power. But undoubtedly China`s situation is not as good as the US.

NK women forced into sex slavery in China

Thousands of North Korean women and girls are being forced into `sex slavery` in China after being smuggled and kidnapped from their country. The London-based human rights organization, Korea Future Initiative, says that sometimes they are sold as prostitutes, or sometimes are forced to marry the Chinese men. According to the organization, the trade is worth $100m (£79m) a year for criminal organizations.

Dalit youth killed for eating in front of upper-class Hindus in India

An Indian youth belonged from Dalit community in the remote Indian village of Kot had been brutally beaten up by the upper-class Hindus last month that he succumbed from his injury nine days later. His crime was he sat on a chair at a wedding function and ate in front of them.

12 suspected jihadists killed in Egypt raids

Suspected 12 jihadists are killed in police raids near Egypt`s capital Cairo. The operation was conducted on Monday, the country`s interior ministry said.
