Anti-Muslim riots in Sri Lanka kill 1 despite curfew

Even after the curfew issued across the country, a person was killed in anti-Muslim riots in Sri Lanka. On Monday night, a 45-year-old Muslim carpenter was killed by a group of rioters in his own factory. There is a tension growing between Christian and Muslim communities since the recent Easter attacks in the country. A recent Facebook post instigated the recent riot.

Bangladesh to be wealthier than India by 2030: Stan Chart Bank

According to a study by Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh will get transformed into a richer country than its neighboring India by 2030. Their studies have shown that at that time the per capita income of Bangladeshi nationals will increase by USD 300 more than the Indians. The study also stated that 2020s will be the ‘Asian decade’ and Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Philippines will be the top seven economies.

Pakistan suspends two thousand teachers for remaining absent

Pakistan`s Balochistan Education Department has temporarily suspended over two thousand teachers for remaining absent from their duty. Citing Balochistan Education Secretary Muhammad Tayyab Lehri, country`s leading media outlets have informed this news.

Israel fears of Iran attack amid US-Iran tension

Israel’s energy minister Yuval Steinitz fears that Iran may launch a missile assault against Israel because of the escalating tensions between the US and Iran. He also warned that if this situation continues, Tel Aviv`s security would fall into serious danger.

EU warns US over tension with Iran

European Union urged US not to escalate tension over the Iran nuclear deal and warned about taking any "military step" against Iran. EU issued this warning at a time when the US government is trying to strengthen its pressure on Iran, as well as trying to get Europe`s support in this work. Federica Mogherini, high representative of EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, issued this warning after the EU foreign ministers` meeting at local time Monday afternoon.
