Anti-Muslim riots in Sri Lanka kill 1 despite curfew

Even after the curfew issued across the country, a person was killed in anti-Muslim riots in Sri Lanka. On Monday night, a 45-year-old Muslim carpenter was killed by a group of rioters in his own factory. There is a tension growing between Christian and Muslim communities since the recent Easter attacks in the country. A recent Facebook post instigated the recent riot.

Bangladesh to be wealthier than India by 2030: Stan Chart Bank

According to a study by Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh will get transformed into a richer country than its neighboring India by 2030. Their studies have shown that at that time the per capita income of Bangladeshi nationals will increase by USD 300 more than the Indians. The study also stated that 2020s will be the ‘Asian decade’ and Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Philippines will be the top seven economies.
