After the churches and hotels, the mosque has been targeted in Sri Lanka. Petrol bombs were hurled at a mosque of Puttalam in Sri Lanka. Besides, two Muslim-owned shops were set on fire in Bandaragama. The incidents took place yesterday (Sunday) at night, on the very day of Easter massacre.
However, it is not confirmed whether the attack was planned as a part of revenge. But it is believed that the attack on shops was a revenge of the church attack.
Sri Lankan government has not officially blamed anyone for the Sunday bomb blasts. An Israel-based media press has reported that the prime suspect is a leader of National Thawheed Jamaat.
