‘Modi should be sent to Bangladesh’
All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) leader Badruddin Ajmal said, "Narendra Modi should be sent to Bangladesh where he can be the Prime Minister". While campaigning at Bongaigaon Ajmal also alleged that the PM is trying to convert the country into a Hindu state by altering the constitution and also trying to convert Muslims.
US wants Iranian’s normal life under sanctions
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the White House is trying to restore the normal life for the Iranian citizens imposing sanctions and pressure. In that case, sanctions and high-level pressure would continue to be applied against Iran. Alongside the White House, US Senators also want to strengthen sanctions against Iran. In a speech on Saturday in Washington, Pompeo described Iran as the biggest supporter of terrorism.
Corbyn urges not to extradite Assange to US
Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn has called for not to extradite Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to the US, where he faces a computer hacking charge. According to US authority the trump administration has already declared the case against Assange officially. If convicted, he could be sentenced to five years in prison. Under such circumstances, the Labor leaders have raised the voice demanding that Assange should not be handed over to the United States.
BJP using religion for poll advantage: Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that BJP is trying to gain political advantage by using religion as a tool to mislead people. While addressing at an election rally in Darjeeling on Saturday this Trinamool leader also said, the culture of Bengal never supports the politics of violence. Cuban President calls for strengthened defense and economy after Trump’s threat
In response to a threat of fresh sanctions of US President Donald Trump, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel calls for strengthening country`s defenses and economy. He accused that the United States is issuing a ban so that it can be difficult to comply with basic needs.
