New Zealand to ban semi-automatic weapons and other stories
 
New Zealand announces ban of all types of semi-automatic weapons. Country`s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said she expected new legislation to be in place by 11 April. She said the government is planning to buy all types of semi-automatic weapons from their owners.
 
New Zealand to directly broadcast Muslims` Friday prayer
 
The coming Friday`s call to prayers for Muslims in New Zealand will be broadcast nationally on radio and television and there will be a two-minute silence on Friday to pay homage to the victims of Christchurch mosque shooting. Country`s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern gave the directive yesterday (Wednesday).
 
Imran Khan wishes Hindu community happy Holi
 
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has sent his good wishes to the Hindu community all over the world including India. In a greetings message of his official Twitter account, Imran Khan said, ``Wishing our Hindu community a very happy and peaceful Holi, the festival of colors.``

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan asked the world leaders to learn "courage, leadership and sincerity" from New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. In an article posted in the Washington Post, Erdogan said that European leaders should take lesson from Jacinda Ardern`s sincere attitudes.
 
Imran Khan announces sale of federal ministry`s property 
 
Pakistan`s cabinet led by Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to sell the unused properties owned by federal ministries to pay off the country`s mounting debts. The decision has been taken to boost up the failing economy of the country.
