The first person in Mars is likely to be a woman, said NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine. In a recent appearance on a science and tech radio show, Mr Bridenstine also asserted that women are at the forefront of the US Space Agency and are likely to set first foot on the moon as well.

The trial of 10 women rights activists in Saudi Arabia has started. They were arrested last year for being active for women`s rights.

8 Killed in Brazil School Shooting

At least 8 including 5 students were killed in Brazil on Wednesday when two former students broke into a school and opened fire. Two gunmen also committed suicide following the attack.
