Maldives arrests 80 Bangladeshi workers and other stories

 

Maldives immigration authorities have arrested 80 Bangladeshi undocumented workers, international media confirmed. A police spokesman said that no documents were found from the detainees. But they were identified as Bangladeshi citizens.

Malaysia has emerged as the most successful healthcare provider in the world with a score of 95 out of 100. The country has 13 world approved hospitals. Malaysia secured the top spot in the Healthcare category of Annual Global Retirement Index 2019 which was published recently.

Unexploded WWII bombs shut down Ciampino airport

Rome`s Ciampino airport has been shut down after maintenance workers found three unexploded bombs dating from world war two.  Italian Civil Aviation Authority declared the closure of the airport to ensure the safe removal of these bombs of 75 kg.

UN found evidence of Saudi involvement in Khashoggi`s murder

A United Nations special investigation carried out on the murder of veteran journalist Jamal Khashoggi has found clear evidence of Saudi Arabia`s involvement in the murder. Agnes Callamard, the UN special rapporteur has confirmed the news and referred this as the gravest violation of the right to life. After listening to the telephone conversation of the killers and observing the nature of attack the investigators reached in the conclusion that it was planned and perpetrated by Saudi officials. It was also said that Saudi officials delayed Turkey`s efforts to investigate the crime scene at Istanbul consulate.
