On Wednesday, Troops backed by a Saudi-led coalition launched an offensive against Yemen’s Red Sea key port city of Hudaydah.
The assault was followed by a warning from the Saudi-led coalition to the Houthi rebels who ignored a final ultimatum to withdraw.
However, the rebels ignored the warning and as a result, their positions were heavily bombarded from the air and sea.
Earlier, the United Nations warned of up to 250,000 causalities in the Hudaydah operation.
Hudaydah port is the entry point of Yemen to receive most of its humanitarian aid.
