In the midst of crisis due to the data leakage, Facebook announces the launch of dating service on Tuesday as the chief executive of the company Mark Zuckerberg wants to nudge people into spending more time in the world’s largest social media platform and find the perfect partner.
Soon Facebook will add a dating function for users who want a stable partner. The Facebook CEO took the stage in San Jose, California at the social network`s annual F8 developer conference to announce this new service which will offer ‘authentic and lasting relationships, not just casual plans’.
According to him, there are around 200 million users around the world who reveal their relationship status as single. So, Mark believes that there is ‘something’ that can be utilized.
Once Facebook launches its dating service, it will bring havoc for the other dating service like Tinder as people nowadays want everything in one place or in one app. WeChat is the best example of how people tend to use an all-in-one app for anything, let alone payments.
