The fifth franchise of this Pilates-based fitness studio was inaugurated by Yasmin Karachiwala herself and Bengal Wellbeing Managing Director, Ashfaria Khair, on 12 January this year.
Yasmin Karachiwala, a most popular celebrity fitness trainer in Bollywood with more than 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, is the founder and master instructor of the personal fitness studio Yasmin Karachiwala`s Body Image. Her immense popularity indulged her with big Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt.
Now let`s have a look at Pilates. What is it or where is its origin? It is a combined form of gymnastics, boxing, weight lifting, yoga, and wrestling. This new section of cardio exercise is now quite popular in different countries. During World War I, Joseph Pilates helped the injured soldiers recover again through various types of physical activity. It is believed that he is the founder of this exercise. Pilates exercises help to keep the spine straight. As well as it removes back pain and is also effective in body toning.
