Tarique sought Dawood’s help?

The acting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, who is now living in London, has asked Dawood Ibrahim to help him overthrow the present government of Bangladesh. India’s intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) has shared this information with the Foreign Ministry of India. Dawood Ibrahim is a criminal and a designated terrorist who is a wanted criminal of the world. He has charges of murder, extortion, target killing, drug trafficking, terrorism and various other cases. Currently, he is staying in Dubai and has reportedly formed a partnership with Tarique in a business.

The secret data collected by RAW report, ‘After the imprisonment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Tarique became the acting chairman of BNP on February 8. Tarique hoped that thousands of people will come on the streets once her mother, the BNP Chairperson, is arrested. However, nothing of the kind happened in reality.’ The data also say, ‘The BNP leaders are more interested in resolving the crisis through election than choosing the path of violence. Most of the BNP leaders have already begun campaigning for election in their respective areas. The BNP leaders are not willing to get exhausted by doing the politics of violence. Through this incident, Tarique has lost his authority over the party.’

RAW assumes, ‘If a peaceful compromise takes place, it will be difficult for Tarique to return to the country and avoid those cases.’ RAW stresses, ‘The case of 21 August grenade attack on Awami League’s (AL) rally that killed 24 in 2004 is in the last stage and if Tarique is convicted, he may receive a death sentence. Thus, Tarique has become so desperate to overthrow the government.’

Referring multiple sources in London, RAW says, ‘Tarique is frequently holding a meeting with different militant groups of Bangladesh. He is also funding them heavily. But for the efficiency of the country’s law enforcing agencies, the militants failing to become active. Therefore, Tarique desperately wants the help of Dawood Ibrahim.’

The data of RAW claims, ‘Two representatives of Tarique have met with Dawood last week in Dubai. They held 3-hour meeting twice.’ RAW reports that Tarique has close connection with the Indian Mafia. They talk frequently and communicate through agents.

It is to be noted that the duo met in Dubai in 2004 for the first time and report of their meeting was published in the Indian media.
