After her trip to United States of America and United Kingdom, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has returned home today morning at 9:30 am.
Comprehending the pulse of people, after her landing, she immediately calls for a briefing and addresses the whole nation.
However, frequently she was seen blowing her nose in a tissue paper which tells that she was suffering from an illness or at least caught a heavy cold.
But she ignored her physical condition and responded to her country people.
She landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and was greeted by the ministers, advisers, senior leaders of the Awami League, 14-party combine leaders, cricketers, VCs of various public universities, prominent journalists and mass people who phrased the Prime Minister as the Mother of Humanity.
To give her a grand reception on her return, the AL leaders and activists have gathered on both sides of the road from Gono Bhaban (PM’s residence) to the airport ensuing traffic congestion.
It tells, how intense and unconditional is the love of people for their leader. Only a few receive such warm reception from their people.
In her speech, the PM has shown her confidence about settling the current Rohingya crisis over international talks and pressure if needed.
Her farsightedness prevented an imminent war with Myanmar that incessantly provoked Bangladesh. She says, “Our bordering country, at one point, showed such an attitude that there`d be a war with us. I warned our army, border guards and police so that they must not get confused with any provocation as long as I don’t order them,” she said.
She has returned home after concluding the three-week visit to the United States and the United Kingdom.
