Shakib`s 51 off 69 balls laid the foundations for Bangladesh to score 262-7 and made him the leading run-scorer in this year`s World Cup. He also made an outstanding performance with the bowling taking 5 wickets against the Afghans. Mushfiqur Rahim, who too has been in sublime form like Shakib, played another valuable knock for his team.
 
ACC files case against DIG Mizan
 
The Anti-Corruption Commission--ACC, has filed a case against Deputy Inspector General of Police Mizanur Rahman, his wife, brother and nephew accusing them of amassing illegal wealth. Besides, ACC has found evidence of Mizan’s illegal assets worth over Tk 30.7 million.

Pressure of patients in government medical colleges and hospitals
 
The manpower, infrastructure and or other ancillary facilities of the hospitals are insufficient in contrast with the number of patients. The majority of the patients come from lower-class or middle-class families who cannot afford private medical facilities as government provides free medicines and medical tests at very lower price.
