Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Advisor Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed said that due to the government`s planning, the youth of the country are earning thousands of dollars from different parts of the country by outsourcing. This has been possible because the government has ensured electricity and high-speed internet in those areas.
Today (Sunday) Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed said this at the inauguration of the Business Process Outsourcing-BPO Summit at Sonargaon Hotel.
The ICT advisor said that many countries of Asia and Africa want information technology assistance from Bangladesh.
Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed also said that the Awami League government has announced to change the quota system by accepting the demands of the youth.
Prior to this, in the same summit the Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology minister Mustafa Jabbar said that the broadband internet connection will be provided in all unions of the country by this year.
