The Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned to her office after a month. She left the country for New York, USA on 17 September 2017 to join the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations. During her visit to USA, she underwent a successful gallbladder surgery after feeling a sudden pain in her abdomen.
On 7 October she returned to Bangladesh, but the doctor advised her to take full rest considering her physical state. She has been administering her routine works from Gano Bhabon.
Meanwhile, no cabinet meeting was held in her absence. Today she has joined the cabinet meeting. Although she has joined office, the Prime Minister will abstain from any political programs and meetings for a few more days.
