Judge reaches at court, strict security all around

Judge of Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case, Dhaka`s fifth Special Judge Akhtaruzzaman reached the court. He reached the temporary special court at Bakshibazar in the capital at 10:20 am.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia`s lawyer Sanaullah Mia, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Abdur Rezzak Khan, several BNP-based lawyers and state prosecutor Mosharraf Hossain Kajol among others, entered the court between 9:30 am and 10:10 am.

Meanwhile, strict security measures were taken in the Bakshibazar temporary court area on the verdict. The lawyer is going to cross five checkpoints to reach the court and they have to enter their name. During this time, many BNP lawmakers alleged that they could not enter the court.

Three check posts have been set up at Palashi Bazar, Bakshibazar and Gate of the court ground. Besides, two checkpoints were set up in the court premises. Besides, CC cameras have been installed at different places of the court. Members of the law enforcing agencies have maintained some level of security in the court area.

Because of the stiffness of the court entry, lawyers argued with the member of law enforcement agencies. BNP lawmaker Syed Joynal Abedin and Taherul Islam Touhid also have heated arguments with the security forces at the entrance to the court.

DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said at the court premises, "The personal security personnel of Khaleda Zia will not be allowed to enter the court with their arms. There is administration to provide security to Khaleda Zia. We will arrange security for her (Khaleda Zia). `

Meanwhile, Khaleda Zia will reach the court at 11 am, said her lawyer Sanaullah Mia.
